Warming up food in the nonstick pan versus the microwave makes it taste way better. I think that's because it heats more consistently, which makes the food feel better. Also, at least with the duck curry that I heated up, boiling the sauce a bit helped activate the flavor more since it also heated the oils and spices versus just boiling off some of the water.
